1. Basta

ABOUT: Basta is on a mission to provide education to children who do not have access to education and helps to provide financial relief to low-income families through collecting donations and the selling of merchandise.
Basta has supported over 1,000 individuals and families from different backgrounds:
- Diverse stateless families in Kuwait
- Local Orphanage in Kuwait
- Low income families in Kuwait
- Low income families in neighboring countries
- Rehabilitation centers
Through the process of utilizing inventory waste through the Basta store, Basta has managed to fund 241 students in continuing their education and counting.
"We encourage and promote volunteerism and aim to spread awareness on environmental sustainability, and social responsibility. We also aim to inspire creativity and create learning opportunities through various workshops and initiatives."
Moreover, Basta focusing on promoting a self-sustaining zero-waste world that we believe can be achieved through spreading awareness on the value and benefits of donating, reusing, and education.

2. FabricAID
BASED IN: Lebanon | Jordan
ABOUT: FabricAID is a social enterprise founded in 2017 in Lebanon that works to establish a socially and environmentally conscious value chain through the collection, sorting, up-cycling, and resale of second-hand clothes through a list of socially-conscious and sustainable brands on their platform.
MOTTO: The Fabric of Giving
MISSION: FabricAID’s mission is built around providing a dignified shopping experience to marginalised communities through three main activities: collection, sorting and re-distribution, of new and gently-used clothes, shoes, and accessories. The work is done through a network of more than 150 clothing collection bins distributed across Lebanon and Jordan. You can find the bin closest to you here!
BRANDS: FabricAID’s main objective is based around the maintenance and expansion of Souk El Khlanj which can only be sustained through the financial contribution of sales made via their brands.
Each brand is operated separately and has its own team, each with its unique characteristics, functions, and target audience.
Revenues from all the different FabricAID brands are fully re-invested into FabricAID to ensure the sustainability and growth of the enterprise.
